Our Hardwood Slappers are constructed of 14" long hardwood with thick leather face to allow custom metal shaping. Using the slapper along with a shot bag or dolly, allows the user to smooth large areas of metal with each slap to help draw out shapes or bumps in the metal creating a smooth finished surface. This slapper features a light arc face which is ideal for smoothing compound curves and light crown shapes
