The 12400 Duramax Turbo Vane Position Sensor Socket is desigened to R&R the sensor located between the hot and cold sides of the turbo on 2004 to current GM Duramaxlight & medium duty and IZSUZU F Series diesel engines. The socket provides the proper depth and sidewall clearance to clear the turbo walls and contact the sensor hex. Cut design socket slips over the sensorwirereducing damge to the sensor wire during R&R proceedures.
