Traditional C-Type valve spring compressors require the head to be removed to depress the valve spring and remove the valve spring keeper locks. Using the 14350 on-car valve spring depressor eliminates the need to remove the head to remove the valve spring keepers.  Remove the rocker shaft, secure the 14350 depressor tool, tighten the depressor hex nut, remove the valve keeper locks.  Loosen the depressor hex, R&R the spring, tighten the depressor hex depressing the spring, install the keeper locks, remove the tool.  Greatly reduces valve spring service times on Dodge 5.7, 6.1 & 6.4L engines increasing overall job profitability.
