The Schrade Bolo Machete has a 14" titanium coated 3Cr13 stainless steel blade which will take a very sharp edge and provides quite adequate corrosion resistance. The Safe-T-Grip handle is a hard rubberized plastic which provides an extremely secure grip under in any weather conditions. The nylon sheath it comes with is complete with a carry strap and a pouch for the included Ferro fire steel and sharpening stone.
